What We Did

Clockwork has worked with The Hotel Penzance Collection group of beautifully designed sea view hotels and self-catering accommodation in Penzance since 2020. The hospitality group has aquired a number of properties and restaurants in Penzance and Marazion including, Hotel Penzance, The Beach Club Hotel, The Beach Club and The Ministry of Flavour restaurants. Each property inheriting different websites and booking systems, as well as brands. 

Clockwork brought all accommodation and restaurants in the group together under a single Hotel Penzance Collection brand with a simple-to-navigate group website, and compare and contrast group accommodation page. Leveraging high intent traffic from each individual property, but especially Hotel Penzance with its strong SEO ranking for hotels in Penzance searches, the new group website has made significant gains including a 45% increase in website users, a 30% increase in direct traffic and over 85% increase in stay revenue in its first two months of going live.
