Project Objectives

The Moat House hotel and restaurant in Staffordshire is just one venue owned by the Lewis Partnership hospitality group. Clockwork was approached by the group to create a new website for The Moat House, its flagship hotel and restaurant.

What We Did

The Lewis Partnership wanted a new mobile-friendly website that communicated the benefits of the Moat House as a foodie destination surrounded by its own tranquil lake and canal with easy access to the M6. Clockwork designed a site with large format imagery and easier to navigate mobile buttons that take visitors quickly and simply to the four key areas of the business - restaurant, weddings, rooms and business event space. The copy for the website was completely overhauled, providing fresh words to accompany the appealing images and communicating the peaceful comfort of the hotel and its 2 AA food offering.
